Chad and Brad are learning to add.

EE Gad, this is bad!

"Dad can you help us to add?" asked Chad.

"Brad and Chad, adding makes me mad," said Dad.

"Aw Drad! But dad, not learning to add is bad! Who can we call to help us add?" asked Chad.

"I know! I know! What about Dr. Plaid? I hear he can add."

So off they went, sort of sad, hoping Dr. Plaid would help them add.

"Come in. Come in to my pad. 1 & 1 we will add. Plus me makes three - don't be sad, Chad and Brad. Be glad! You will add. Just watch and see this do-dad. It will help you learn to add."

So with the rad add do-dad, Chad and Brad learned to add from teh Dr. Plaid. The sceedad right home to teach their dad

All the Brad's, Chad's and Dad's were glad.

I couldn't do subtraction because of all the action. My teacer was the main attraction trying to come up with a fraction. I had a caption that would help my teacher solve the fraction. I brought a contraption to help me solve the fraction. Even with this contraption I had a strange reaction. Then when I finished the fraction my teacher showed some satisfaction.

Ther eonce was a lad and his name was Clad. He was mighty sad that he could not add. "I'm so stupid" said sad Clad that could not add. He thought not adding was bad bad bad. Dad walked in on Clad with his brother, Chad. Clad was made that Chad could add.

"Don't be mad" said Dad. "Chad can add and you are sad, but you should be glad. There is a doctor his nmame is Drad. He will teach you how to add." Off went Clad to Dr. Drad to learn to add and not be sad. When he came out he was a glad lad for now Clad know how to add, which was not bad!

Dad made Chad sad. He said "You can't add, You're real bad." Chad felt downright wacclespad. Dad felt like a mean blad.

Chad went to his teacher Mr. Taderclad. He said, "Let's add Chad... and be glad."

"Sure," Chad said all happy as Brad!

"You've learned how to add Chad," said Mr. Tad and it's time to sce-dad.

Chad the lad went off to add. Mr. Blaid saw Chad and said "Come to my pad."

Chad said, "OK, I will. Do you have something to add?"

Then Mrs. Plaid said "I don't like to add." So he left their padd. Then Tad came by to add.

"What is wrong Chad?" Tad asked.

"Mrs. Plaid doesn't like to add Tad," Chad said. Then Dad came along and saw Tad and Chad.

"What is wrong? Why do you not add?" Dad asked.

"Mrs. Plaid doesn't like to add, Dad," they replied. "Then we should teach her to add, that Mrs. Plaid!" So off the go to their pad.

"Let me get my add machine Tad," said Chad. So Chad came back to add wtih the machine. They got o their pad to teach Mrs. Plaid to add with the add machine. Soon she learned to add and all were glad.

"Oh faption! I have to learn subtraction. It just makes me go ba-baption. I must see Mr. Daxtion, he knows subtraction. Mr. Daxtion invented subtraction!" So I called up Mr. Daxtion and said "I've got to learn subtraction." He invited me in and I sat down.

Then he kicked me back out. "2 (you and I both) take away you and that leaves one! Me!"

Soon I learned the contraption and found the sapstion and that is how I learned subtraction with Mr. Daxtion.

Tad, Brad and Chad were best friends. They even had to go together to math. One day they were all sad. They didn't know how to add. So they asked theri dad to help them add. Their dad know how to add the best. He taught his sons how to add. Then Tad, Brad and Chad were mad. They didn't pass the addition test. They ski-dad home and didn't show their dad theri grades. They draded to their rooms. Their dad found out about the grades. They took the test again and passed. They learned to add.

Great Job! You all are very creative! Here is my version, let me know what you think:

Oh my subtraction! What a tough action! When I think of taking away I bow my hard in dismay. My teacher says it’s easy, but I say no-sir-reasy. So she decided to teach me a little trick. I thought I was going to be sick. She said think of a number that adds to the small one and you should get the difference of the sum.

Does this fit Dr.Seuss math? If not, how should I change it? Does the last sentence make sense?
